A True Friend
A true friend freely, advises justly, assists readily, adventures boldly, takes all patiently, defends courageously, and continues a friend unchangeably. --William Penn
We are so fortunate to have so many friends that fall into the categories listed above. However they are spread across the country! Thankfully we have longtime friends right here in our neighborhood that are definitely all of the above and more! We've weathered deployments, health scares, weddings, births, cross country moves, starting over, tires stuck in the mud, learning to be parents, and all of the other things that come along with being newlyweds. We love to laugh, adventure and live life together. So thankful to have "sure we'll stop what we're doing and help you with that crazy idea" kinds of friends right in our own backyard.

This was one of those...sure it's close to bedtime but who cares because it's GORGEOUS out kind of nights. We walked along the water and enjoyed watching the boys be boys.
Full moon. Explains a lot when it comes to boys behaviour I've decided.
Our friend the mountain joined us for the night
This kid is into the balance beam.
This kid is into everything.
These two are quite the pair. They spent most of the evening jumping off a picnic table into the grass and looking for trains.
It was definitely one of those "Wow, we live here!" nights
An almost smile from this one. By the time we learn how to smile little brother will be in the cheese face stage. Oh well :)
